Deceased Name: SYLVIA W. COHEN Sylvia W. Cohen, 84 of Duluth, passed away on March 18,
2002. She was a life long resident of Duluth and former owner of Remington
Jewelry and Sporting Goods. She was preceded in death by her parents; Abraham and Eva
Wishman; her husband; Harry I. Cohen, and her sister Gloria Goldberg. She is survived by her sons; Stuart and Margery Cohen of
Minnetonka, MN and Bruce Cohen of Duluth; her sister Sharlyne and Arthur
Krauss; her grandchildren; Shari and Ron Barry, Amy and David Cohen and
Samantha Cohen; as well as four great grandsons; Mark and Jordon Barry and
Jeffrey and Grant Cohen. She is also survived by many loving nieces and
nephews. FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held Friday, March 22, 2002;
10AM at Johnson Mortuary; 514 E. Third Street. Interment to follow in Adas
Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity
of the donor's choice. Shiva will be observed Saturday and Sunday nights
beginning at 7:00 PM Arrangements by Johnson Mortuary. Duluth News-Tribune (MN) Deceased Name: HARRY I . COHEN Harry I. Cohen, 93, of East Superior Street died Friday,
Sept. 4, 1998, in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born in Duluth on Dec. 24, 1904, to Jacob and Fanny
(Weinberg) Cohen. Mr. Cohen was a Duluth Central High School graduate. On
Jan. 3, 1937, he married Sylvia Wishman in Duluth. For over 50 years, Mr.
Cohen owned and operated Remington Jewelry and Sporting Goods Store. He was a
member of Adas Israel Synagogue. Mr. Cohen was also a member of the Palestine
Masonic Lodge, AF&AM, Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Duluth, and a life
member of Aad Temple Shrine. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Sylvia;
sons Stuart (Margie) Cohen of Minneapolis, and Bruce of Duluth; a brother,
John (Ida Mae) Coen of San Diego; grandchildren Shari (Ronny) Barry of
Minneapolis, Amy (David) Cohen of Minneapolis, and Samantha Cohen of Duluth;
great-grandchildren Mark and Jordan Barry and Jeffrey Cohen; sister-in-law,
Sharlyne (Arthur) Krauss of Boynton Beach, Fla.; brother-in-law, Hyman
Goldberg of Sun City, Ariz.; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service: 11 a.m. Sunday in Jarvi-Dowd Chapel.
Burial in Adas Israel Cemetery. Shiva Sunday and Monday at 4019 East Superior
